Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School will be held Monday, June 18, 2012, through Friday, June 22, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Our theme for this year is "Heaven's Kitchen: Nourishing a Healthy Soul, Body, and Mind", based upon Matthew 6:9-15. All children ages 4 through 16 are encouraged to attend. Registration begins May 1, 2012 and will be on-going through Friday, June 15, 2012. There is no cost to attend. We will also have our annual Bronson Street Fair on Saturday, June 23, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Street Fair will feature horse rides, fun, games, food, and fellowship. For registration forms and/or more information, please contact the church at (330) 722-0073.

Friends & Family Day

Friends & Family Day will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. All members are encouraged to invite their family and friends to join in this day of praise. worship and fellowship. Casual attire is permitted. A continental breakfast will be served at 9:00 a.m., followed by a special Sunday School session at 10:00 a.m. and the Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. C. P. Carter will bring the morning message. All are welcome to attend.

First Baptist Church of Orrville - 65th Mass Choir Anniversary

On Sunday, May 20, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. we will fellowship with the First Baptist Church of Orrville in celebration of the 65th anniversary of their Mass Choir. Rev. C. P. Carter will bring the message. Transportation is available (see sign-up sheet in vestibule). 

Barbecue Chicken & Rib Dinner Sale

The Trustee Ministry of Second Baptist Church is sponsoring a barbecue chicken and rib dinner sale beginning Thursday, May 24, 2012 through Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Chicken dinners include half a chicken, baked beans, and Cole slaw for $8.50. Rib dinners include a generous portion of ribs, baked beans and Cole slaw for $9.00. Slabs of ribs are available for $18.00 and extra sides are $1.00. For more information, please contact the church office at (330) 722-0073. Delivery is available.
